Who else did he have to go to?? There was nothing in the pitching cupboard to pull from. Anyway if you want to look at that he got us into the playoffs by sticking his neck out there for CC, so I guess Charlie won us 17 games last year to push us into the playoffs

Charlie judges the young talent well, but his strategies on the field are often lacking. Leaving Colon in to face Ichiro in the last play-off game was the kiss of death.
